Leefield Station is a range of wines that celebrate the history of the iconic sheep and beef station located in the heart of the Waihopai Valley. Purchased in 2013 by Marisco Vineyards, the property inspired us to go back to the beginning with our winemaking approach.

Pale pink coralish color, expressive nose with fresh red fruits and yellow fruits (peach) and a citrus touch. The aromatic palate has a beautiful red fruits and citrus expression and ends on a supple and greedy note.

Clear, bright appearance. Pale gold colour. Very aromatic! Nice, riper spectrum Pinot Gris character; baked pear, tropical fruits and vanillapod, also subtle ginger spice and white floral notes. Dry concentrated and intense to taste, lovely texture, quite a full-bodied expression of Pinot, featuring nice ripe flavours and fine balanced acidity. Serve lightly chilled as an accompaniment to delicate cheeses and cured meat.

Balance is the golden rule with the Chapoutier Pays d'Oc Rosé. The musts undergo very little racking, in order to develop the wine's volume, yet maintain its freshness. 100% pressed rosé, its floral on the nose and clean on entry. Ideal for an aperitif, or accompanying a number of summer style dishes.

An enticing Pinot Rosé fill of attitude, style and extravagance, boasting vibrant berry and stonefruit flavours, savoury notes and a spicy finish. This one is juicy and fresh with charmingly balanced sweetness and crisp acidity. An approachable and elegant French style dry Rosé to enjoy on your own terms.

The nose is packed with an abundance of citrus and stone fruit, together with the tropical aromas of pineapple and guava. Interspersed also with floral notes reminiscent of honeysuckle and jasmine. The palate is concentrated and mouth-filling, yet balanced with refreshing acidity that complements its lingering dry finish. Vegan Friendly.

A portion of nobly botrytic fruit has produced a distinctive style of wine. It has a core of citrus fruit characters, particularly lemons and limes, but there is also an undercurrent of white fleshed peaches and nectarines. The botrytis has added hints of honeysuckle and also given the wine extra concentration and richness. A seam of natural acidity and minerality flows through the wine and gives it an off-dry finish length and zest.

A rich and creamy Gisborne favourite, bursting with ripe peach and melon flavours complemented by subtle butterscotch and fig notes. Its smooth texture and balanced finish make it a perfect match for seafood, chicken, veal, and light cheeses.

A rich, fruit-driven wine crafted by the first vineyard in New Zealand to plant the variety. It pours a pale straw with hints of gold, releasing exotic aromas of rose petal, clove, lychee, and star anise. The palate is full and clean, bursting with vibrant flavours of lychee, Turkish delight, spice, and ginger that make it an exceptional match for aromatic Asian cuisine, bold blue cheese, or fresh fruit desserts.

A soft and voluptuous full-bodied white wine that opens with a pale straw colour and a fragrant bouquet of jasmine, almond, and pear. The textural palate is richly concentrated with complex notes of spice, pear, fig, and honeysuckle, all perfectly balanced by a lovely acidity that leads to a crisp, dry finish. This elegant and aromatic wine makes a delightful accompaniment to fish, chicken, pork, or fresh Japanese cuisine.

A fruity, vibrant, and refreshing rosé with a lovely light peach-salmon colour. Aromas of fresh strawberry, cherries, and delicate floral notes lead into a palate of ripe strawberry and watermelon, complemented by subtle creamy notes and a crisp, dry finish. Perfect as an aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with summer salads, fresh seafood, and other light seasonal dishes.
