Crushed ice and a quality bourbon or whiskey is key! Add in a hot summers day & it’s something to be celebrated.
You will need:
- 65ml quality bourbon/whiskey
 - 10 mint leaves
 - 2-3tsp simple syrup
 - Ice (cubes to shake, crushed to serve)
 - Mint to garnish
 
To make:
- Shake the bourbon or whiskey, mint leaves and sugar syrup with ice
 - Strain into a highball glass or julep tin filled with crushed ice
 - Churn gently with a long-handled spoon and top with more crushed ice
 - Garnish and serve.
